Lollipops Play Cafe

We live in Poole with our two young children. Having been regular customers of Lollipops for many years, when we learned that Erica had put the business up for sale, we jumped at the chance to re-energise what they feel is an important community family facility.

In December 2018 we took control and commenced refurbishment immediately, whilst ensuring no-one had their parties impacted by the works. The refurbishment included the following improvements:

– Toilet Access from Main Hall (most customers did not like the access route to the toilets as one had to go via the entrance corridor. The toilets also needed a refresh and space for 2 baby changing stations)

– Party Room Expansion (knocking the two small rooms in to one has made a great space for both Parties and Classes)

– Kitchen Expansion (providing more space for cooking, storage, refrigeration and display was a key element in being able to offer a much improved food and beverage menu. Having a new oak counter with matching tables provides a quality look ‘n’ feel)

– New Front & Side Doors (important for security, light, and temperature control)

– New Garden & Front Patio (with new artificial grass at the rear, and high quality paving at the front, we now have really useful outside seating and play areas)

– Decoration & Cleaning (the building has been painted throughout, had the main hall floor restored, new flooring in the party room, and the central heating repaired)

– SKY Sports on 3 x Large HD TV’s (bringing the venue up to date with modern technology and digital content)

– New Website with Online Party & Event Booking (making it easy for customers)

Lollipops Cafe was voted No. 1 Soft Play in Dorset by Dorset Mum’s for 2019-20. We were naturally delighted to receive this award, and then a few weeks later we were faced with lock down due to the Coronavirus.
