Description
The Avifauna Interpretation Center is one of the places of environmental interest to visit in the Galician geography.
The Zoological Park is designed fundamentally for the realization of guided visits, by means of a tour through a well-cared botanical garden in which the participants can observe the richness and variety of birds from the 5 continents, distributed in 76 enclosures adapted to the species or group of species that harbor.
With the zoological collection of birds, an attempt is made to offer an extensive but exclusive variety of species and a sufficient level of information to give a certain relevance to the center.
AVIFAUNA has the only existing Wild Bird Breeding Center in Galicia, in which projects are carried out in which the biology of some species and the changes that they may undergo as a result of life in captivity are mainly studied.
