Description

The Guadalajara Municipal Zoo was inaugurated in 1985. Since then it has continued to expand.

The Guadalajara Zoo is a founding member of A.I.Z.A. (Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquariums) which includes the most important facilities of its kind in Spain and Portugal.

In addition to having animals from the five continents, our Zoo specializes in European fauna, since there are about a hundred species that live and reproduce in its extensive facilities.

In addition to wildlife, it has a section dedicated to domestic animals. Bears, wolves, lynx, wild boar, deer, fallow deer, mouflon, Gibraltar macaque, ponies, sheep, goats, swans, peacocks, raptors, pheasants ... these are just some of the animals that can be seen in our Zoo.
