Bring the family to Wilfred Taylor Reserve for a relaxing day. On the second and fourth Sunday of the month there are Train rides for a minimal charge. You are welcome to bring your four legged friends and take them for a walk around the dog obstacle course or just relax and soak up the family atmosphere in one of the sheltered barbecue areas.
Dog must be on-leash throughout the park, except for the obstacle course - they where they can be off-leash but must be under effective control(Show info) .
Nature lovers can follow the walking trail along the upper reaches of Christie Creek, marvelling at the majestic river red gums and abundant native birdlife.
This reserve is home to the Morphett Vale Basketball Stadium, Noarlunga United Soccer Club, Southern United Netball Association and Onkaparinga Rugby Union Football Club (entry is via Sports Park Drive off States Road) and the Southern Districts Kennel and Obedience Dog Club, Morphett Vale Railway and Southern Vales Archery Club (enter off Wheatsheaf Road).
