Description
Located in the northeast corner of the city, it is one of the most recently opened parks. Due to its proximity to the coast and the wind that usually blows there, it is one of the favorite spaces for kite lovers (they can be rented on the spot).
In addition, the park has, in its 32 hectares, a great variety of native bird species, such as the chingolo, the benteveo and the lark, among others. It has a large free parking lot, several bike paths, recreational play areas with sandboxes, others with trees and picnic tables, a waterfront (from which you can see the boats that navigate the Río de la Plata) and a pedestrian bridge that connects to the park with the town of Vicente López, in the province of Buenos Aires. There are also nursing services, bathrooms, drinking fountains and kiosks.
