MUNCYT's mission is to promote scientific knowledge and culture.
The MUNCYT acts as a social reference and meeting point in science and technology from the consideration that each citizen has an important role to play in science and technology.
The main objectives of the museum are:
- Preserve and enhance the historical, scientific and technological heritage
- Contribute to effective and quality science education
- To be a showcase for Spanish science and technology
In addition to the exhibitions it presents at its headquarters and in associated centers, conferences, recreational-scientific activities, didactic workshops are held, it collaborates in the training of science teachers, catalogs and outreach works are published, among other initiatives.
