Description
Designed by the Galician architect César Portela and located around Samil beach, Verbum is an interactive museum on all areas related to human communication; designed as a cultural, recreational and informative space in which you can actively participate in the exhibition elements. It is structured in four floors unified by a light box that crosses and relates them, resembling a set of Chinese boxes that contain each other.
The museum is an entertainment space that allows you to experience and learn, through games, everything related to languages, languages, words, letters, sounds, signs, symbols, sight, hearing, reading, writing, literature and technology.
The exhibition design is organized into 29 cubes that contain, inside, a total of 81 modules that develop the different themes of the museum: language, science, literature and technology. In addition, the Museum organizes interactive activities for schoolchildren, cultural associations, families, etc.
It houses a Temporary Exhibition Hall as well as an auditorium and a classroom for seminars.
