Children love to play. They love to be imaginative and what’s more, they need to be. Play is a vital part of our little people’s learning journey. It is key to their social development, it builds confidence and enables growth as they explore the world around them. What’s not to love about playing!

While our play equipment is designed for 0-6 year olds, older siblings are welcome. There is plenty of space to finish a bit of homework at a table, enjoy a treat from the café or settle down in a cosy corner with a board game or book while a little brother or sister has a great time playing. Our play area is full of exciting and imaginative toys for little people with thoughtful play areas set up. There is a large space for physical play, with our very own traverse climbing wall, balance beams, soft play shapes and a fantastic wooden climbing frame (plus more!) On the creative and imaginative side we have toys galore, from our beautiful play house full of wooden toys, prams, and a kitchen for endless role play, along with shops – to a gypsy caravan, magical tent and a pirate galleon. Our toys our beautiful and your children will love them. We also have chalk boards, play dough, colouring and reading areas – the list really does goes on! At the Little Blue Elephant, we are very proud of our stylish and cosy café space and the huge care we take to make sure your dining experience is a pleasure. Whether you are joining us for toast and marmalade at 9.30am, enjoying a delicious cake and coffee mid-morning pick me up, or having a nutritious lunch or tea date with the little people in your life, we want you to love it. The café has been thoughtfully designed to be a very happy and relaxing place to enjoy for both grown ups and children. Every detail has been considered to make this a fantastic space for families and friends to spend quality time together.

Our food is fresh, simple and delicious. The décor and seating is practical, making it easy with children, but creatively styled with a quirky, industrial look adults will love. At The Little Blue Elephant we have combined two key aspects – a very cool grown up hang out, but a place that will also delight your children. Enough said.

We have highchairs in abundance, we absolutely welcome breast feeding and we are more than happy to warm bottles of formula should you need it. We have dining ware that is child friendly, bibs and wipes available if you have forgotten yours and your child can have as much tap water as they need to drink.

There is something very special about the birthday of your child – an opportunity to celebrate a year of their amazing little lives and all they have achieved, watching them have the best time celebrating with their friends. At The Little Blue Elephant, we want to give you the chance to look forward to your child’s party knowing somebody else has it all under control – All you need to do is write the invitations and sort out a fabulous cake and candles!
