Can Farell Masia Restaurant

Can Farell, like most farmhouses inhabited throughout history, has a complex and interesting story. Based on some of its architectural elements, Can Farell's origins could date back to the 15th century, although documents confirming its use as a dwelling are more recent.

Its name comes from the former owners, descendants of the owners of the farmhouse "El Farell" in San Sebastián de Montmajor who lived there from 1638 to 1901, dedicating themselves to the cultivation of their lands and pastures.

From 1901 until 1969 it was owned by the Fages family and Maria Coquart, who first rented it to the Vergès and later to the Boada to work as farmers.

Since 1971 the Riera Garcia family began the work of a restaurant, adapting the spaces to meet the needs of the trade.
