Description
Can Farell, like most farmhouses inhabited throughout the ages, has a complex and interesting history. According to some of its architectural elements, the origin of Can Farell could date back to the 15th century, although the documents that confirm it as inhabited are closer. Its name comes from the former owners, descendants of the owners of the house "El Farell" from Sant Sebastià de Montmajor who lived from 1638 to 1901 dedicating themselves to the cultivation of their lands and pastures. From 1901 to 1969 it was owned by the Fages family and Maria Coquart, who leased it first to Vergès and later to Boada to act as farmers. 1971 the Riera García family began the restaurant task, adapting the spaces to meet the needs of the trade.
FORT FARELL
The ideal restaurant for children
At Can Farell we have a room available to children, so that they can enjoy their stay at the farmhouse to the fullest. If you are looking for a restaurant for children, our farmhouse is a guaranteed hit.
"El Fuerte Farell" is the restaurant's playground for the little ones. This was the name by which the Giant of Pi was known in the area and we know that as a child he liked to play in our pine forests and gardens.
Fort Farell can be accessed by all children over 3 years old once they have eaten, it has a monitor to supervise the little ones while they play and the adults sit quietly after dinner.
In our restaurant, children are the protagonists and we want them to feel especially comfortable at Can Farell. That is why in our farmhouse-restaurant there is a large room for children so that after eating they can quietly enjoy toys, costumes, drawing materials and lots of games. The restaurant has a playground where children can run, jump and, what interests us most, have a good time at Can Farell.
CHILDREN'S MENU
to eat with children
Can Farell has become a reference restaurant for many families, since we have the essential ingredients for the little ones in the house to enjoy as much as the grown-ups.
We have a children's menu printed on the back of a drawing and on all the tables there are colors to paint the drawings and for the children to mark what they want to eat. After eating, they can access the games area (link with Fort Farell) where there are monitors who supervise them, while the elderly can continue eating and enjoying the after-dinner.
In the restaurant's play area, all children over 3 years old can go. The little ones can also enter as long as they are accompanied by an adult. There is also the possibility of having coffee on the terrace of the play area and thus being close to the little ones.
