At Fabre we have a wide variety of books, among which the following stand out:

Children's books: For our beginning readers we have books with pictures and different shapes. We also have cloth books and other specials for those who like to entertain themselves in the bathtub. And for the youngest, we offer a wide selection in German of children's and young people's literature, from "Max and Moritz" in "The Tales of the Brothers Grimm" to "Harry Potter" books. In addition to German books, in this section we also have literature books in Spanish and Catalan.

Adult books: For adults we have a selection of novels, thrillers and, of course, the latest news.

School books: In addition to ordering school textbooks for the German School of Barcelona, ​​we offer the possibility of requesting books through kindergartens, schools and student groups. Also, for those who want to learn German we have exercise books and basic reading grammar materials for both beginners and more advanced students.

Toy store

We have been specialized in wooden toys for more than 60 years, hand painted and with ecological paint of German tradition, as well as from Spain and France.

We have dolls and stuffed animals from quality manufacturers known as Haba, Sterntaler, Corola or Doudou. We also have games and puzzles, dominoes, mandalas and wooden building blocks, wooden cars and trains.

Antique corner

In this corner we keep postcards that are more than 80 years old, both with floral and children's motifs and our own Christmas greetings.

In addition, we have old stamped books from our own publishing house (Selva) that stopped publishing in the mid-20th century. And with game boxes over 60 years old.

Here you will always find something special. Not just for collectors. We offer hand painted Goebel and Hummel figurines, world famous Erzgebirge nutcracker and incense burners, hand painted, Wendt and Kuhn angel and child figurines, original hand painted Russian Matrioshkas, music boxes, toys and much more.

Trading Cards and Calendars

Every year you can find wall calendars and Advent calendars imported directly from Germany at Fabre. As of September, we have more than 500 copies. In addition, we also have original unique postcards in Barcelona.

And, do you remember the stickers with which almost all of us have played as children? We continue to sell and we hope to continue having each year with the aim of surprising with new images.
