Designed by Arq. Keil do Amaral in the 50s, and requalified between 2003 and 2005, it maintains the original structure.
It has a wide range of recreational, sport and leisure facilities, aimed at different age groups: playgrounds, picnic parks, a multi-sport, an amphitheater, leisure areas and a food court.
Grassy areas, numerous trees and shrubs, the presence of a water element centralizing this space, invite us to take a walk and stay throughout the park area, integrated into the privileged setting of the Monsanto forest area.
Noteworthy is an arboreal mass classified of public interest under the terms of Decree-Law No. 28 468 of 15 February 1938, Decree No. 20985 of 7 March 1932, Regulatory Decree No. 80/2004 of 10 April and Ordinance No. 574/2004 of May 28th.
The entry of pets is prohibited. Only assistance dogs are allowed, as established by Decree-Law No. 74/2007, of 27 March.
