Engenhoca Parque is located in the city of Aquiraz, on the east coast of Ceará, 15 kilometers from Fortaleza. Founded in 2011, Engenhoca is a reference adventure park in Ceará tourism, both for entertainment and local culture. With more than 40 attractions for all ages, the park has activities that combine fun and nature, in a lush setting throughout its 40,000m² surrounded by greenery. Special opening hours In JANUARY, JULY AND DECEMBER we have different opening hours: the park is open from Wednesday to Sunday and holidays, from 10:30 am to 5 pm. . Moenda Restô: the Restaurant at Engenhoca Parque FIND OUT MORE Culture and History The park is still synonymous with tradition, because it was built in a historic location, home to an old mill from the 1920s, factory of the famous Colonial cachaça. To preserve the history of the sugar cane cycle in Ceará, the park management created the Engenho Colonial Museum, located inside Engenhoca. The museum is equipped with relics of the mill, such as pieces of machinery, documents and products that tell the story of this era. Furthermore, the city of Aquiraz, where the park is located, was the first capital of the State and has indigenous traditions mixed with the culture of the European colonizer in its roots. In Tupi, Aquiraz means “Water just ahead”
