Founded in 1983 by the married couple Karin and Ulrich Vollbracht, son Marc Vollbracht has been managing the 4-star hotel since 2007. Since 1995 the hotel has been part of the Familotel quality group, and since 2014 it has also been part of the quality cooperation "Wellness Hotels & Resorts". A total of 130 employees work every day to ensure that guests have the best time together as a family whenever they are here.

For the little ones the Sonnenpark offers a sensational play, fun and care from 0 years onward. In addition to the numerous play areas and swimming pools for all ages, the Adventure Land and the riding hall, there is up to 9 hours of daily care for babies and toddlers under 3 years of age and 10 hours daily for children from 3 years of age. This way mom and dad can also be pampered at the highest level. And this can be done wonderfully in the exclusive spa area. On two levels, the adult guests can expect an extraordinary 600 m² with a panoramic sauna, steam bath, fireplace lounge, relaxation and rest areas with daybeds for two, and much more.

Sonnenpark was not designed on the drawing board, but has grown little by little. With great effort we have ensured that all hotel areas are connected to each other. This is how our unmistakable architecture was created, which is the special charm of Sonnenpark in Willingen.
